Through Skillsbank, Tasmanian Leaders offers high-level volunteer services and advice to community groups and not-for-profit organisations, free of charge. This is part of our commitment to contribute to the Tasmanian community and to building a bright and prosperous future for all Tasmanians.
Skillsbank services are provided by our skilled and experienced Alumni and include the following:
- Mentoring for staff, volunteers or clients
- Board or committee membership
- Speaking engagements
- Facilitators for events, seminars and conferences.
Skillsbank gives preference to projects that clearly add value to your organisation and the wider community and/or build capacity in your organisation to deliver similar projects in the future.
There are some restrictions* but we will always do our best to support your project if we can.
To see if we can match you with one of our volunteer graduates please contact us or head to our Alumni search.
* Skillsbank does not provide direct financial assistance, help with lobbying governments, support to projects delivering direct benefits outside Tasmania only or work that is part of your organisation’s day-to-day activities if you have internal capacity or can pay for consultancy advice.
