Participant charter

In submitting an application to undertake the Tasmanian Leaders Program, you are making the following undertakings.

If chosen to be a participant in the Tasmanian Leaders Program (TLP), I will:

Code of Conduct
I will uphold the behavioural standards expected by the program and Tasmanian Leaders, serving as an ambassador for both. This includes treating my program peers, speakers and other guests with respect and professionalism always.

Attendance
I understand the importance of attendance and commit to attending all program days and associated events. In case of exceptional circumstances, I will communicate with program authorities.

Engagement
I will fully engage in all program activities, including surveys, pre- and post-work, and reflections, and complete them thoughtfully within the given timeframes. I will also work collaboratively with my fellow participants to plan and carry out any assigned group work, and for the Tasmanian Leaders Program commit to delivering a project as part of a Learning Set.

Ongoing Leadership
I will actively participate in leadership initiatives beyond program participation to support and promote a positive future for Tasmania, regardless of my location.

Graduate Search
I will register my skills and interests with Tasmanian Leaders, and I am open to collaborating with fellow graduates or responding to inquiries from the public through the Tasmanian Leaders Graduate Search. I will ensure my contact details are up to date to enable this.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to help individuals and organisations cover all, or a portion of the program fee to build capacity in a particular community or industry, based on the priorities of our scholarship partners. Changemaker Scholarship

Q1. I would like to apply for the Changemaker Scholarship (up to $2500)
A Changemaker is someone who takes innovative action to address challenges, whether through a local community project, business, initiative or broader movement. These efforts require courage, resilience and a spirit of entrepreneurship. We believe the Tasmanian Leaders Program supports people with these qualities to strengthen their leadership, build networks and make a lasting impact. The Changemaker Scholarship provides support of up to $2,500.
1) The project, initiative or business you are actively progressing that you believe will create positive change or benefit the Tasmanian community. 2) How participating in the Tasmanian Leaders Program will help you develop the skills and networks needed to strengthen your future impact.

Tasmanian Leaders Small Business Scholarship

Q1. I would like to apply for the Tasmanian Leaders Small Business Scholarship (up to $4265)
The Board of Tasmanian Leaders is offering one scholarship of up to $4,265 to cover half the employer fee for one successful applicant from a small business in Tasmania with demonstrated capacity, success and passion to undertake future entrepreneurial projects.
1) Your demonstrable commitment as an entrepreneur, including key outcomes and successes over the past 5 to 10 years. 2) Your demonstrable capacity to drive the development and growth of a profitable entrepreneurial business. 3) Why you or your organisation needs financial support to pay for your professional and personal development.

I-LEAD Women in Industry Graduate Scholarship

Q1. I would like to apply for the I-LEAD Women in Industry Graduate Scholarship
The I-LEAD Women in Industry Graduate Scholarship is available to support graduates of the I-LEAD Women in Industry program to continue their leadership development through the Tasmanian Leaders Program. This scholarship provides support of up to $2,500.
1) How your I-LEAD experience has shaped your leadership development, and how the Tasmanian Leaders Program will continue that growth. 2) The value of, and need for, financial support to participate in the Program.

I-LEAD Women in Community Services Graduate Scholarship

Q1. I would like to apply for the I-Lead Women in Community Services Graduate Scholarship
The I-LEAD Women in Community Services Graduate Scholarship is available to support graduates of the I-LEAD Women in Community Services program to continue their leadership development through the Tasmanian Leaders Program. This scholarship provides support of up to $2,500.
1) How your I-LEAD experience has shaped your leadership development, and how the Tasmanian Leaders Program will continue that growth. 2) The value of, and need for, financial support to participate in the Program.

Disability Leadership Scholarship

Q1. I would like to apply for the Disability Leadership Scholarship
The Disability Leadership Scholarship, proudly supported by the Tasmanian Disability Commissioner, is available to support emerging and established leaders with disability to participate in the Tasmanian Leaders Program. To be eligible you must: 1) Reside in Tasmania and be a person with disability. 2) Be a current or emerging leader in any field. Your leadership does not need to be related to disability or disability advocacy, and you do not have to demonstrate leadership only in a workplace setting. Examples of leadership could also include community or thought leadership. 3)Not be an employee of Disability Commissioner Tasmania, or an immediate family member of an employee. 4) Not be a current sitting member of the Disability Inclusion Advisory Council, or an immediate family member of a current sitting member. 5) Provide a 300 word candidate statement as part of the application form to outline how you meet the criteria. This scholarship provides full funding of the program fee (total value $9,960).
