The Tasmanian Leaders Foundation

The Tasmanian Leaders Foundation (ABN 17 620 689 536) was established as a charity registered with the ACNC in 2018.

The purpose of the Tasmanian Leaders Foundation is to provide benevolent relief to Tasmanian’s who are disadvantaged and unemployed or underemployed, disabled (both physical and mental) or Tasmanian Aboriginal people through access to leadership programs and reskilling training which provides specific opportunities and support for this group of Tasmanian’s to lead an improved quality of life.

The Foundation will develop and deliver programs that increase exposure and accessibility for those disadvantaged which will (i) increase their employability and reduce economic hardship, (ii) allow them to take their place as role models to others disadvantaged, (iii) increase the opportunity for them to achieve mainstream leadership roles and to inspire and lead across advantaged and disadvantaged communities, across all sectors, and (iv) increase individual resilience to overcome entrenched disadvantage.

The Foundation:

  • Aims to transition disadvantage to advantage
  • Values diversity in people, perspectives and opinion
  • Has integrity in everything it does
  • Has the courage to make a difference
  • Inspires exceptional leadership beyond self, and
  • Demonstrates commitment to create a better world
